Blooming Joy offers local flower delivery across Hatteras Island, straight from our shop in Avon, North Carolina. We hand-deliver thoughtfully designed arrangements to homes, businesses, churches, schools, and event spaces—bringing fresh flowers and good feelings from Rodanthe to Hatteras Village.

Whether you’re sending a just-because bouquet, celebrating a milestone, or marking an important moment, we make flower delivery simple, beautiful, and stress-free.

Our Delivery Schedule 🚚

  • In-Season (Feb 2–Oct 31): Designer’s Choice arrangements are available for same-day delivery when ordered by 1:00 PM. Other arrangements depend on flower availability and may require a little extra time.
  • Off-Season (Nov 1–Feb 1): Designer’s Choice arrangements are available for next-day delivery.
  • What is Designer’s Choice?
    Designer’s Choice gives our florists the freedom to create something really special using the freshest, most beautiful flowers in season. You choose the occasion, and we handle the rest—designing an arrangement that feels thoughtful, balanced, and just right for the moment.
  • Planning a wedding, memorial, or custom event? Give us a call. We’re happy to talk through the details and create something meaningful.

We deliver throughout Avon, Buxton, Frisco, Hatteras Village, Waves, Rodanthe, and Salvo.
Need delivery somewhere nearby? Extended delivery may be available upon request.

Delivery Fees

A flat $15 delivery fee applies to all local deliveries. Easy to understand, easy to plan for.

In-Store Pickup

Prefer to pick up your flowers yourself? Totally doable.

Order online and choose the day you’d like your arrangement ready for pickup (as long as we’re open), then swing by when it’s convenient.

More of a browse-and-decide person? Stop in and choose from our fresh, ready-to-go arrangements in the cooler—perfect for last-minute gifts or spontaneous flower moments.
